Valve Index is similiar. I've had my whole desktop freeze but the spatial orientation is still drawing within the VR as the headset is moving albiet in a frozen state.

My 2020 civic has turbo but also lane sensing, collision detection, cruise control that adjusts based on what's in front of me, and a bunch of other features. That's what I'm paying for. Sure I can't fix it myself but th

This. It's open source so I highly recommend people take this into their own hands and clone the repo. There's many forks people use anyway such as TachiyomiAz. Keeping this thing working is trivial. Anyone with basic html and css

The idea that being forced to pay tribute or die is not murder is laughable. The idea that the Mongol empire was successful is also laughable. It could not even last 100 years before falling to infighting. And how do you even measure succes

I live in a place where sidewalks are everywhere but driving is just much more convenient. I'm lucky that there's a store within 1 mile. If I got a model 3 the payment would replace my current gas expenditure completely.

I remember it taking minutes to load and then only getting under 20 fps. Maybe I had the graphics up too high. I didn't know what I was doing at all.

Someone got this for me when I was a kid and I tried running it on a 166 mhz Pentium 1 with 16 mb of ram (a Toshiba desktop). It did not go well.

The concept of 24/7 availability is ridiculous in it's own right. I don't buy the idea that they need them for "emergencies". Smart phones are constant dopamine dispensers. They create a dependency and cause human b

I don't know why you're being a contrarian here. Booster completed it's primary mission. Main vehicle survived long enough to show viability. Multiple technologies were proven beyond a reasonable doubt to work. Shuttle was 1.

Pretty sure NASA doesn't care about losing the booster for a moonshot mission. Shuttle was 1.6 billion per flight.

The base model is offered at a discount at Costco but there's no such discount for the next level up in storage so the mark up must take this discount into account.

I was close to getting the air for $900 from Costco but stopped in my tracks from the low storage and upgrading just the storage is +$500. A frankly insane mark up for 256 GB of storage.

Dynamically typed language have very clear rules. It's not magic. If you know these rules nothing about dynamically typed code is inherently problematic. It's the difference between logic being in the code versus in the run time.
