I was close to getting the air for $900 from Costco but stopped in my tracks from the low storage and upgrading just the storage is +$500. A frankly insane mark up for 256 GB of storage.
- foldr 3y ago>and upgrading just the storage is +$500 The base model airs all have 256GB now. Upgrading to 512GB is $200, not $500. I don't think any Mx laptop has ever had a $500 charge for a one-level storage upgrade.
- hparadiz 3y agoThe base model is offered at a discount at Costco but there's no such discount for the next level up in storage so the mark up must take this discount into account.
