I will tell you when I can get back in. I quit my job in January before the economy crashed. Took a month sabbatical which is looking like it will an indefinite sabbatical. 9 years professional experience, four year Computer Science degree,

Good god, the scroll hijacking on that site is dreadful. Makes it impossible to scroll comfortably on mobile. That being said I’ve always admired the Remarkable tablets.

Agreed. I've been saying for years that if you go with Docker-Compose, or Amazon ECS, or something lower level, you are just going to end up rebuilding a shittier version of Kubernetes. I think the real alternative is Heroku or running

This is all covered in the book I recommended! :) For the button: I would say abstracting it out into a function or using dependency injection, and having a centralized switch statement is the way to go. I don't see why you would need

I have had the same thought. It is laborious to use and people struggle with it. 99% of the behavior it implements people do not use. Git is not the correct level of abstraction.

My family owned and ran a number of funeral homes for ALMOST 100 years. We sold JUST BEFORE the 100 year mark. We are glad we got out when we did, which was 10 years too late in my opinion. The bottom dropped out of the industry, people don
