Sounds like a bad API and not specifically Ruby issues.

This so much. While it's annoying to waste resources for nothing. All I really had to do to make this a non issue is upgrading my VPS to a slightly larger box. If I would pay per requests I couldn't sleep anymore

I have a website that has around 5k Bing visits every single day. Basically my most expensive user. Compared to Google with about 70 visits daily. I randomly block their IPs, tried some stuff with robots.txt and even completely banned it in

I just parsed the whole findings and damn that's depressing. My key finding is that the average European sees the EU and their country go down but his personal situation either improved or at least was stable. https://www.ar

Did you try l-theanin? That is contained in green tea and arguably one of the reasons you don't get caffeine rushes and withdrawals from excessive tea use. I use it mostly against anxiety I can get from high caffeine intake. On the oth

I could spend hours writing a response to this. I am mid 30 and my style of music changes with every season I am not within trends but most songs I enjoy most are not older than 3 or 4 years. Not all of them are well known. Even something e

And Germans. Who live in German resorts and only visit absurdly cheap restaurants with German flags. At least in maspalomas that was kinda weird.

The reviews on the restaurants there are regularly people whining about how expensive everything got. People spend hundreds of dollars to fly there and live in some 5 star resort just to complain about a $20 menu. They simply have the wrong

AliExpress has by far better customer support und money back solutions and even better shipping times in many cases if you don't live in a official Amazon country. Even wish refunds faster and less complicated in case of no delivery.

You can't pop a trip, go to a music festival and except a new mindset. You can however use these tools to deeply connect with yourself and this is where life altering experiences happen.

We have been in the situation where mining wasn't worth it before. Personally mining didn't ROI for me when I made 0.02 BTC a day on my one computer so I stopped. Someone will always speculate for it to come back. Someone will alw

Not sure if I am missing a deeper meaning here but street artists in Europe usually don't have payment terminals. I haven't seen them in Venice either

FYI Austria and sometimes Italy have weighted self checkouts. In Switzerland the age check is done by any cashier nearby. Sometimes so fast that you don't even notice that there was a check.

I always wonder about french accents. Like in half of Switzerland you speak at least 10 widely different Swiss German accents but there doesn't appear to be such a thing for the french half.

Actually there are those semi awkward clips where shein invited a few western influencers to show them their green, safe and happy factories not to long ago. They are on it :)

I am always trying to find alternatives routes. Being mean works surprisingly well as short cut with some. Or questioning their credibility because they aren't human enough sometimes gives them a hint as well :)

So only 1/3 managed to get the bot the redirect to a actual human before they have given up? I get it's more complex than that, but I have given up on several of these bots before.

Yes! I agree on so many levels. But at the current state of things people draw the line somewhere fictional and blame fast fashion while wearing fast fashion. There is no indicator that shein is either worse or better than H&M or Adidas
