I honestly think a lot of hate against fast fashion is from the fast fashion brands that still do brick and mortar stores. H&M has all interest to have us think their clothes are somehow less crap and therefore it's ok to pay 5 tim

I don't get that either. I earn all my money from my websites and serve > 1mio requests daily all from a single Vultr instance for less than $150 including backups and more traffic than I ever need. With monitoring, CDN, DNS, ddos p

We don't have to go into details but I really wonder what kind of bad experience you had. I use Linux for ~20 years now and literally wasted weeks getting graphics to work the way I want. I know all about these pains. However this was

What price would the dude have to pay if he didn't publish it? How often does this happen and why is there no protection against charging free customers 100k out of the blue. Why charge it and shock the customer if practice is to waive

Any cheap VPS and nginx should work for 99% of their customer base I guess. If you want easy deploy for static or dynamic just use git hooks.

You don't have to use open source drivers. I only use them with intel CPU graphics where they work great IMO. AMD and Nvidia ship drivers, most distros somehow pack them. No issue there.

I hope this is not one of the cases that get simply forgotten and in a week or two their beginner unfriendly platform gets recommended again without a second thought. With models like this and AWS people will get afraid of success

No. This is absolutely common. I remember well how shared hosters 10 years ago already put caps on cheap packages and took the websites offline in case of traffic. And today it's Amazon who bills small players into dept. There are many

This so much. My hetzner (best choice for a media server within Europe) has 0 downtime in 1.5 years. And exactly as you said I am using bunny as well, which costs me a few $ per year.

I recently had this realization too. Punk never really went away, I am a 90s kid and there was a lot of punk culture in my place. However for me personally punk seems more alive now than the last 15 years and it's great Especially UK a

I know this is going to sound stupid but I bought my Subaru at 200k kilometers. Thing is, everything that breaks in these cars was recently replaced. All the other repairs are usually below $100. What would those 200k even matter? Even more

I know very little about our old car and cars in general. When there is a issue I just call my Subaru guy and so far $150 or less fixed every issue we had. However those things sure sound impressive, but it doesn't sound it's wort

It's funny how people pick a random version and explain how it went downhill from there. If you combine these answers you get the idea that it went downhill ever since 95/98. For me vista was the day I switched completely and have

The appeal of the Linux desktop for the majority of people is that it runs chrome or Firefox just fine and is pretty much secure if you do your updates. That's how the majority of people use their computers. The underlaying OS is irrel

Camera and proper radio is a $100-$300 upgrade for any car tho. At least with those older cars where you can still DIY and use standard radios instead of the original.

That's a very generalized statement. We leased a brand new fiat panda before and now have a 20 year old Subaru. Ive seen videos of both crashing and there is nothing better about the fiat.

1. Find out what you want from a car 2. Realize a 25 year old car does all that 3. Just pay the few thousand in cash I may be weird but I don't get why anyone would make dept just buy a fancy car they can't afford?

I don't remember this as legal issue either. If windows 95 paradigms were to be avoided was because they were dated and deemed to be replaced with other concepts.

I recently been on a shopping website from the UK it used multiple dark patterns some of which have been forbidden under EU law. I still wonder if they just decided to f* it because they don't have to follow those rules anymore.
