This is entirely my own experience but the friends I had in high school/university always clocked in way more hours in WoW than I could doing repetitive tasks such as reputation grinding, crafting, dailies, raiding etc. I always wonder

The quality of many of their own brands is terrible as well. We were moving and needed a couch and bed quickly and the bay could deliver one reasonably fast. The couch cushions lost their loft in a few months and were covered in pills. Cust

I sort of hope that eventually there will be official assembly plant, miner, smelter upgrades that can help reduce UPS issues. I always feel like once you can progress to tier 2 things (blue assembler, red belts etc) you can get to end-gam

I really do agree in the time I spent as a graduate student and postdoc I saw so many questionable data "massaging" tricks that aren't including with the paper methods. Oh the copy number segment doesn't cover the gene

The colored variant of a De Bruijin graph is used extensive for high throughput sequencing alignment, assembly or quantification. For example, Pufferfish [1] has worked towards an efficient and compact index of these graphs. [1] https:

The real estate market in Canada needs better regulation too. My wife and were trying to buy a home in Toronto. We bid on a home that had no movement all summer and made an offer. Later that evening the selling agent found a mysterious se

There are newer methods that use antibodies to enrich for methylated dna prior to sequencing [1]. The method increases sensitivity as the majority of plasma cfDNA is unmethylated and hematopoietic in origin. [1] https://www.natur

Having one on the top and bottom is critical. When I was young my dentist gave me one that was only at the top and the constant grinding wore down my bottom teeth.

One minor thing that drives me crazy is that pubmed always sorted by newest papers first wherever I used now. Now it's been changed to default to "best match", which is usually not nearly as relevant to most scientists.

There is a lot of data being produced in these studies and outside of them. There are so many areas that a software developer could really benefit these projects. For example, a lot of bioinformatic software that is released is designed p
