Where do I go for my 3-5 node cluster which I want to schedule containers to, run dynamic workloads etc? How do I build a container based DAG in a small cluster today without k8s? Solutions that are not k8s tend to be single programming lan

I have this issue, I doesn't help I live in a city state with basically one distributor so if they decide my shoe is not cool enough anymore I have to pay double for private import.

I know more than a few people who got Iphones only because there were no or too hard to find Android phones in a smaller form factor. I wouldn't be surprised if at least half of that 5% would switch back in the no-mini scenario

We have a basic template that when empty, takes about 20min to compile on a very new laptop, builds to a 200MB+ jar.

As he goes on the main criticism becomes that it is too complex to ever succeed at being more than it is. The evidence of this is besides his own experience the projects that failed when integrating with activitypub for federation. Personal

Outbox pattern is nice, inbox is more questionable. Depending on size of org you might want to solve that exactly once.

This is quite interesting, at $work we use kafka and postgresql / other transactional databases. And we are probably over a man-millennia of work invested in making data consistent between the two. Given a lot of that is based on mindl

Largely crypto seems to fail at being distributed internet money. If a project is fast and cheap enough for it that correlates with being too niche to be viable. We have seen BTC and ETH lose their function as internet money as transactions

So the menubar is worthless? Because the fullscreen mode kills it. Or is it some mental gymnastics in saying that it's a waste of space to only look at one thing? Otherwise what you describe sounds like, basically every floating window

At this point, anything but many workspaces and automatic tiling feels like a toy implementation of windows to me. OS X doesn't do better than dwm.

The problem with growing content is that either the location changes because you either see newest first or you autos roll down to the latest on entry. Navigation through a time based ToC seems like a compromise but not one I love

I've been working with this idea for a while, that it's immutable pagination that makes any written work worthwhile. With it we can spatially reason about it and we commit its location to memory. You can never do that with an infi
