If it was perfectly stable, wouldn't you expect to find a bunch of crap there like in the "pacific trash island"?
- ncmncm 5y agoStuff would have to both (1) get there, and then (2) lose enough energy to stay. Doubtless millions of rocks have achieved (1), but have no means to achieve (2). In any case, it's not perfectly stable. Occasional perturbations are bigger than the energy needed to leave. So, things put there don't stay long without help.
