Every time this happens, I have a hard time going to sleep. I don’t understand what the actual problem is. I mean, I see them undertaking strange initiatives all the time. It is probably the most strange company I have ever followed. But, n

That advice can be attributed directly to Walter Murch! It is written in the book!

EDIT: After posting, I realized that I might argue that it would make sense to me if Murch were to argue that editing doesn't work the same in 3D. And, I expect that wouldn't be much of a surprise to most of us. If that's the

As a film editor, and admittedly a Walter Murch fanboy, I still partially agree with your argument. I think, however, Murch is getting at something deeper here that he needs to elaborate on. I'm an Ebert fan as well, but you're co

I just played this game a few minutes ago with Device Manager. I have developed a habit that when I search the Start menu, I slowly type one letter at a time and wait for the result each time.

Of course this isn’t an argument. It’s not even anecdotal. Oprah gave free cars to her audience one day.

So if we get rid of net neutrality, we get less ads? That’ll be the day. The “infrastructure industry” huh? The internet, of course, should be treated as a utility.

All other privately controlled electronic media does that, and you haven’t offered any reason to expect less here, so why not? Of course, net neutrality is an issue of control and regulation. Losing net neutrality, mind you, involves privat

No, it’s not simple. It is incredibly complicated, and moreso than I can address in thiscomment. But, for one, these are not court trials. These are public relations events.

If I were to re-learn the rules, I could probably point it out. The best I recall is we were skipping a small step in the turn cycle.

Why are they called a “ virtual assistant”? I would just call that an assistant. I have always thought a virtual assistant is a chatbot. In fact, I have never even given one of them a chance bacause I was so sure of it.

I quit playing Magic in 1999 when my 4 friends and I found out we were playing by the wrong rules. We went into town, to a tournament at a comic shop, and saw the games taking 20 minutes. Ours took 1-2 days. We tried what was, to us, the “n

Another comment mentioned invoice factoring, and this is different but I think we have to remember that the big companies are going to use invoice refactoring. This might be one for the blockchain. :O

Maybe there are different difinitions of “deal with” beig used here? Either way, sexual harrassment is an incredibly difficult problem to “deal with.” Acknowledging it is very easy, but if the ends don’t justify the means, it’s unlikely to

The real challenge of 8K is in focusing the lens. While some lenses can do this in mid-aperature ranges, they require a certain attention and process to set. The market for this camera should know that.
