Is there a simple standard license or licenses which allow personal and small to medium commercial use but larger companies with say more than $1B valuation need to pay?

This looks like it could be interesting, but the code size comparisons seem really disingenuous. The level of engineering and features are not the same - one could easily write a react listbox component with far less code than the example.

Wow this was indeed super comprehensive. A few things I noticed: - In the cold start section, a couple of the synthetic_data responses say 'context does not provide info..' - It's strange that retrieval_score would decrease w

For local stuff with a handful of documents, you can even just throw it into a json and call it a day. The similarity search is as simple as an np.dot: https://github.com/gsuuon/llm.nvim/blob/main/python3

This is pretty late, but - does this completely kill Unity web? I mean, if every visit to a web game is an "install" there's no way games are making enough to cover that scenario. I guess caches could mitigate this somewhat..

This post inspired me to look for an ML-like language that compiles to lua and I found this useful list: https://github.com/hengestone/lua-languages

You're right, upgrading to pro would be better at $2k/seat/yr which gets you a much larger million dollar buffer. Also, I'm noticing that the revenue thresholds seem to be per-game not per org - so actually, the new pric

I used to play MUD's as a kid! I've got an LLM powered CLI MUD game slow brewing in my noggin but haven't started on it yet. I did build a multi-player chatgpt powered discord text-adventure bot which I think I'll eventu

I wonder if this is an attempt to motivate Unity developers to produce higher quality (or at least, higher retention) games? This seems to heavily favor desktop experiences that are paid upfront and mobile games with high retention, while i

This does look pretty bad for hyper-casual and casual Unity devs. The total earning per install could easily drop into the negative and even with the $200k revenue buffer, it'd be easy to end up with almost nothing. I imagine these fol

Twine seems interesting, but it looks like these are mostly for helping writing out the branching bits of dialogue which would be mostly the LLM's work anyway. Guess some amount of reinventing wheels is gonna be necessary when adapting

Can you point me to some text-adventure engines? I'm hacking on an in-browser local llm structured inference library[1] and am trying to put together a text game demo[2] for it. It didn't even occur to me that text-adventure game

Would this technique work for video? The readme of the inria work[1] seems to imply a model is trained per static scene, does that rule out video? [1] https://github.com/graphdeco-inria/gaussian-splatting

For straightforward chat batching wouldn't be very useful, but it can still be very useful for building apps on top of local LLM's which I'm hoping we'll see more and more of.
