I'm not sure that argument really holds up. AirBnB is very popular in Japan (hosting not renting), tons of listings, all of them are breaking the law. (most of them are lying about their listings as well with AirBnB's blessings)

I feel your pain. That's what taxi service has been like for me in SF and LA. Also it was effectively non-existent except for calling to be taken to the airport because there were so few. Japan, or at least the populated parts generall

This is true of pretty much every tribe/culture. You want to be a hippie and stick it to the man. You must have dirty hair or dreads, wear sandals, have those baggy light pants (no idea what they are called). South Park made fun of thi

Slack isn't treated that way. It's not the same as a hallway conversion. There's no record of a hallway conversation and no way to search or reference a hallway conversation. It's therefore impossible for anyone in a hal

Can someone explain how blockchains work outside of Bitcoin? My poor understanding is Bitcoin only works because you get paid to mine (compute the chain). Since so many people want money there's enough people computing the chain to che

I'm curious if you should use p at all. Unlike most other tags p doesn't not enclose block elements. So easy to break. Soooo many bugs related to starting with a paragraph, embedding something inside it, not realizing the content

I tried Air Display once. It had the issue that on a dual GPU MacBook pro the Mac display would jank and flicker every time the GPUs switch which in my workflow is extremely often. Does Duet do any better? To test reboot. Run Duet. Start Ch

I don't think I compare myself to peeps on social media so much. Rather I compare to my friends and peers most of whom are not active on social media. One friend is president of a 200 person top rated game dev company. Another is head

Maybe Bernal Heights is different but you walk down 18th next to Dolores park and often see the piles of glass every 3-4 parking spots. Same on Folsom in SOMA. Same on 11th. Same on Franklin. The same is also bad in LA but SF seems worse. B
