There is a lot to unpack there. I'm not defending Alitalia, it is/was a company I rarely chose given there were more affordable choices that I preferred like Ryanair/Easyjet/Vueling/Wizzair. I dislike Alitalia as mu

Italian Software Engineer here. Yes it seems it's a rebranding and downsizing operation. The articles have very strong nationalist and arrogant tones masked as pride. Please remember that is the product of some marketing guy trying to

Italian software engineer here. Just ignore the douchebags that came up with that rebranding strategy and the journalists that indulge them. It's all a massive show put on to get the investors money. It's wrong to reduce a country

And yet last week a simple light show with quad-copters didn't manage to go as planned: https://www.stuff.co.nz/travel/travel-troubles/126582371/its... Now I don't think those drones costed 10USD ea

Yes probably the US and Russia and China militaries have some advanced quadcopters. Do you think even to build one of them costed less 10 USD? You have to count in all the research and development put in.

I remember the video with the swarm of tiny drones dropped from the airplane. It's very unrealistic in my opinion. 3 types of problems: 1) quadcopters battery is not great (yet) 2) AI is very specialized 3) You underestimate how fast a

But doesn't Google and many other tech companies in the silicon valley own all the code you write as a developer while employed? That's kind of a no-moonlighting policy.

Somehow we created a society where violence is acceptable to watch but sex is not. It's okay to watch a human being realistically murder another one YET a penis appearing on screen or a penis entering a vagina/rectum is somehow a

Movies are supposed to be SHOW DON'T TELL. Sex for many people is the culmination of love and many other feelings. You are depriving the audience the view of one of the most fundamental events of human life.

Well is fairly normal to see someone being shot in a movie. That is a realistic way to die. An unrealistic way to die to me is someone saying the Avada Kedavra curse in Harry Potter. Even action movies for kids are relatively realistic in t

If you plan on switching to a job with Machine Learning sticking with Python might be worth it. Otherwise for web developer careers I recommend going with Javascript. It will allow you to be a frontend or backend or fullstack developer.

I was genuinely asking you in which city you are because if you want to find a physical repair shop that's relasted to where you live and I can only help you in the search if I know that.

Another example of manipulation in pricing is the unit of measure of DSL speed. All ISP providers across all countries advertise their speed in Mbps which is Mega bit per second. Now remember that 1 Byte = 8 bits. No-one ever uses bits as u
