So righteousness falls upon the vulnerable? I guess I'll tell my drug addicted cousin he's all good because he's vulnerable. You can be moral by being against the will of someone who's lost their way.

Your logic can be extended indefinitely. Are we torturing pedophiles by forcing them not to abuse children? What about murderers? Society coalesced for a reason.

They are not doing this for anti-monopoly reasons. It's purely because they thought the tech companies had more data, and therefore more power than them. One of the examples I've seen over here, which I can't seem to find in

Registering is one part of a thousand part process. Ask a small business owner, other than geography, would you rather operate in California or Texas. 9 out of 10 will say Texas.

The lies aren't for the international community, it's for the people of China. If the wet market is at fault, it can be blamed on the local party leadership, which was easy enough to do because they continued to screw up during th

This. They originally wanted to make the maglev line all the way to the other airport (Hongqiao) with a stop in downtown (People's Square). If they just went to People's Square, the amount of people using it would be MUCH greater.

Heard about this a couple days ago, crazy stuff. For those who don't know, bilibili is a massive video hosting platform in China aimed toward the younger generation. So the question is who leaked it and why? Just a disgruntled employee

Absolutely. More children meant more farmhands. In the city, it's a net negative. It's not to say you're wrong, it's just the one child policy is a compounding factor.

One child policy was in effect and Chinese people got used to it. It's been enforced as a social norm and the subsequent generations seldom have more than two kids. You can add China's increased urbanisation, increased work hours

What's to stop San Francisco from creating a lot more high-density housing? Doesn't that solve many issues with housing supply? Looking at wikipedia, the density is crazy low even compared to other major cities in the US.
