I sorta understand your point, but this wouldn't help in the case of running that script. Namely, the JS sandbox of the browser already prevents filesystem access. But a user running `node` in a shell would not be protected by the brow

It is likely impossible for the AI to be that smart. You are talking almost about doing pre-crime. The AI could figure out you're going to murder someone before you even know yourself! But more seriously, even if the AI was super smart

My first gut reaction was $115k/person/year was way too high... But apparently a person in a NYC prison costs $560k/year[1]...That amount of money can definitely do a lot of good to rehabilitate a person. However > we iden

Are you suggesting that women should be forced to be house wifes and baby makers? Or maybe Japan should go full Handmaids Tale? It isn't pointed out because removing freedom is not an option. We have evolved beyond such primitive ways.

Your argument is the same for iCloud backup, which does not require a passcode. A simple method is to make the backup encrypted, where it leaves your device encrypted. This is once again Apple forcing people to pay for more Apple products u

Totally agree, by far the best dashboard of any console I have ever used. Another great feature was just how blazingly fast it was to hope into and out of that dashboard while playing a game. Both the PS4 and Xbox One were such a disappoint

It's a little unclear to me about that, it is what I thought at first. But it appears that quicklime is not stable at ambient temperatures and recombines with CO2 to make Calcium Carbonate; which is how the self healing works.

On one hand, I agree with you catching in all aspects would be near impossible. However similar to Apple, a more focused approach could be viable and profitable much more quickly. AWS has been around for a long time, but they also have tons

This is not quite the same. Experts did make mistakes for the challenger explosion, but they did much better than the average person. Put 1000 people at complete random into a room and say design and build a rocket, I suspect they won'

This is mostly true, but it is also because there is only one implementation of an these languages. Go for example has a gcc compiler as well. And that compiler has very different options than the one written in go.

It does not need to be hardware specific. After all, talking to hardware is just software. Your password manger could implement passkey support. And I suspect that 1password will do that soon with their recent acquisition. The real benefit
