They had something like this. It was called Core Guidelines. I think it was a bit of a misnomer b/c it sounded like some glorified style guide. But it was actually a set of tools and helpers/wrappers that effectively made it impo

Oh okay, I think I see the problem. GPLv2 wouldn't allow for something like that b/c it'd be introducing an extra "restriction" (forcing more people to disclose code than plain GPLv2) - while GPLv3 was designed with

is there an AGPL-like license built on top of GPLv2 and not GPLv3? I really like the philosophy behind GPLv2 and the AGPL - both focused on making sure code changes get redistributed. But im not keen on the anti-Tivoization requirments .. i

I've never seen this implemented in a way that isnt confusing. It goes to some "Outbox" and you no longer understand why it stuck there and how often it's retrying. You can also have weird failure modes where the mail is

I've successfully used it from Clojure (I think it's through JRuby). With a few lines of code you can configure AsciiDoctor to whatever you need. It's way easier than fiddling at the command-line (I couldn't immediately

Yeah, removing javafx-media and javafx-web saves a ton. It's good to point that out. It's been a couple of years, so I'll need to revisit this again later and try again > It includes FXML and see the discussion of optional

I think if you do Graal native compilation then you'd effectively get that. The linker should chuck unused code. (though tbh I haven't tried it myself) But to just say "no reflection" and tree shake your JVM code - not t

It's only tree shaking the JRE itself, not your whole program (unfortunately..). So as I understand it, it means no dynamically calling arbitrary classes in the JRE, but that's a much narrower limitation. Final binary size is natu
