I think when you break down all the variables there is really very little to play with bc no phones have variable apertures. ISO is basically a linear gain that's done on the sensor. As long as you aren't blowing out your photo an

I understand what you're saying on a high level, but it's tricky for me to then translate that into practice One issue is that all this interactive stuff always just give you a "Frequency Domain" when really you have com

Can you build cross platform libs? So like say you have python or java that calls out to some native code (ex: high performance math routines), but that native code is actually "cosmopolitan"/crossplatform?

I thought this was really well done without any misleading oversimplifications. I do think the author missed the central trick of the Fourier Transform though. He's right in pointing out the sounds aren't a bunch of sine waves (ty

You can actually used it interactively from the repl in clojure as well if you need access to the api. I forget why, but it made using the reveal.js output much easier than getting the extension working through the command line

Unfortunately this physics-guy/spherical-cow thinking is really common in people doing linear algebra on computers and the results are poor performance. Abstractions are great for general programming, but when you are doing tight-loop

Have you tried using a wireless keyboard with it? I was sort of considering getting one and using emacs through tmux. To do light programming and writing I feel the latency should be tolerable. Though I worry about how much the screen flick

Past a very baby level you kinda need to know the JVM world a bit. Lots of keywords like "classpath", Maven, reflection etc.. You def don't need to know Java as a whole, but it was actually a little challenging and confusing

I'm probably missing some subtlety. I'd think you could have some "debug mode" layer where the Clojure runtime catches exceptions. Basically wrapping every exception in Clojure with a try/catch, and doing a try/

Ironically one of my major annoyances in debugging Clojure is that stack traces don't come with a program state that can be inspected (as you get in ELisp or GDB)

I think having the values aligned make it much quicker to read off entries. I will generally looked at the keys for the first entry, but for subsequent entries I assume the same ordering and just look at the values on the right. It's a

The point was that the keys and values are all aligned to the same minimal column numbers :) Both `json-mode` `json-reformat` don't seem to do that (and ideally I'd like something that'd work with Clojure/EDN code..)
