I'm quite sure that LLM style things will be smart enough to generate things like complicated decision trees and state machines from human explanations, plus test suites and explaining which cases have ambiguity and/or missing. I&

And this is weird to me. As a software engineer, who works with text all the time, I was buying IPS panels with as high resolution as I was able to justify for my entire career. I don't see myself coding it quest, it is just too blurry

I'm not VR pro, but the resolution sertainly feels lacking. There were articles where people were writing how they are programming for many hours in their quest2. I cannot understand how this is possible with this bad text

This is not a problem. They will just buy the data in bulk from some third party, what would do scraping for them. I heard many instances of such things.

This is just wishful thinking. All the alternatives have proven that they barely work too. 1. Dedicated forums - have you seen cesspools that are community.microsoft.com or apple support forums? Or few surviving audio forums, with those lon

Amazon recently started doing the same. The "chat" button disappeared from the help & contact us, and to talk to real person you need to go through bunch of jumps.

I own zsa moonlander (my primary keyboard at home), ergodox ez, dactyl manuform (slightly modified, use at work) and drop preonic. I won't buy this keyboard. It doesn't have anything attractive to me. 2 thumb keys are not enough.

Totally unrelated. But generated picture at the beginning of the article, the one with space needle, robs me very wrong way, as real landscape doesn’t look like it. It’s like seeing Golden Gate Bridge in New York.

Totally agree. So far the best thing that I've seen in wildlife for c/c++ code is just outsourcing everything into docker container with build tools, that you have with qmk: https://docs.qmk.fm/#/getting_start

Iterators are great, I really loved simplicity of `yield` in c# and python. Go's proposed syntax is god awful. Why they are doing that to devs and themselves? Should we expect it to improve in like 15-20 versions, like it happened with

Yeah, my bad but the code from grandparent is also incorrect, as for it to be compilable variable must be declared as mutable. That confused me, as I assumed that code there is compiling. But the only way for it compile is shadowing, so yea

The example with <- is not an assignment, it is called shadowing and introduces new value with same name, old one isn’t changed But I agree with some ad hoc words criticism

std::variant is a good example of many things bad with c++ improvement process, as a language. If you want to just pattern match on type of visitor there is “another convenience helper” that you need to bring, and result still looks not ple
