What to do instead: use pwsh to completely obviate all these issues.

Sorry but that's an asinine reply. The people looking for the support are busy doing something and looking to pay a company for the support. If they had the time to volunteer for support, they wouldn't be looking for support thems

The goal is to have short aliases. That explicit call syntax isn't exactly convenient. That's what doesn't work.

Doesn't work with powershell (which, to be fair, was quite new at the time this blog post was released). But honestly, while 2 or 3-letters aliases are tricky, I've very rarely had issues with 4-letter aliases. There are 456k poss

My apologies if the star in front of "never" was added to the title in the last ten minutes after you posted your comment. But that star is clearly there to indicate "fine print ahead"; in a title, it's pretty obvio

When the website loaded, my first action was to zoom out, because the author chose a humongous font size. Somehow, this set off a chain reaction of font size changes that took a few seconds to resolve; I don't know what goes on, but zo

Cats are more intelligent than donkeys (âne in French). Cathode is positive, anode is negative. That's how I (and probably all French students) learned it.

Or... it's a conscious design choice that you happen to disagree with. Just because you can think of one disadvantage of the approach, doesn't mean that the creators are idiot who didn't think about what they were doing.
