Would they architect the home or does one need to provide that? Genuinely curious as some of these seemed reasonable to me.

Well for the record, I enjoyed my Surfaces. I thought they were what Apple should have released at that time. I am also a fan of ThinkPads. I still have an X1 Carbon – great keyboard. Sold my X230 on a whim and still miss that little guy.

I had the first five generations of Surface Pros. I agree that they can be your main computer. They have compromises but overall they work fine. For example, they don't have the computational power as the top end MacBook Pros but they

Do you have citations for the “10X as fatal” comment? I am having a hard time understanding the situation because facts are hard to come by.

I was in your shoes 2 years ago. I had two ThinkPads one was a hackintosh. I needed MacOS for work. I loved having the trackpoint, thinkpad keyboard, and user replaceable parts. Work eventually upgraded everyone to new MacBook Pros and I di

I second this. I am similar age with similar back issues. I focus on core work and strength training. I also run 3-4 miles a few times per week. I am very careful to use proper posture vs speed. I have been able to avoid surgery. I still ha

I recently started gaming after a good 8-10 years of non gaming. I installed Dirt Rally and bought a racing wheel controller. It is a blast to drive in a simulator-like game. I don't think it is a game I would've have enjoyed as a

I am not picking on FB here. I find it interesting humans created this network. It has some benefits and plenty of issues due to its business model. There is strength in the network but the network could succumb to a loss of participants an

I appreciate Tesla for taking the pick up truck use cases and building something from scratch. This is the first pick up truck I’ve ever thought to myself “makes sense and I want it.” The ICE trucks have needy engines and most of the time t

Is there a solution for rapid change from the private sector? I don't believe the current US policy makers will act on climate change.

That is one interesting and reductionist take on Chicago. The south and west sides of the city are cultural melting pots. The north side also has its ethnic enclaves. I am not defending Chicago but as the only other true metropolis outside

I think the transition from plastics will be vital. It will require new innovations in product manufacturing alternatives. Look around everything is made from it. It will change supply chains, goods lifecycles, costs, and consumer habits. F

The true Chicago pizza that is more ubiquitous in the region than deep dish is Tavern style pizza. It is a cracker style crust, sweeter sauce, cheese to edge of the crust, and cut in squares. It also best well-baked. https://www.

Do you have proof? At my previous ad tech employers data was always stripped of personal identifiable information. The legal and policy teams went to great lengths to ensure data was anonymous.
