I mean they censored Winnie the Pooh because of light hearted comparisons between Pooh and Xi (that were arguably positive). [0][1] Once you're doing that, pretty much anything is going to clear that bar. [0]: https://en.wik

The results are better when the products are more common/famous (Nvidia card, instapot) since there will likely be reviews from The Verge or something that rank highly. It's less common stuff that tends to give you mostly crap.

When I search Google now I mostly get spam. “Product vs. Product” -> list of spam websites that just show them side by side with ads. “Product Review” -> same as above, spam. “Product referral code” -> sites with spam and no codes.

Agreed - many tasks can be done with more accessible tools. It's why Excel is so popular. It's why modal editors suck for the majority of humanity. For most people and most applications, WYSIWYG is fine and allows people to use th

Yeah - I think there's lots of bad tooling, but a lot of it does come down to logic. Once people realize they're not doing something 'wrong' really and that it's just the tooling that's bad - they can start to

And yet it’s still possible to eat ice cream even though such a thing would not be found on the savanna. Some people can’t control this and become wildly obese, but others eat ice cream, understand what it is, and get on with their life.

I used to be more worried about this, but one of the things Trump proved is you can have unquestionably authentic video evidence of lies and many people won’t care. The people that care about figuring out the truth and critical thinking wil

Agreed - I suspect Apple (and others) are doing this as fast as they can to de-risk. They can't blow up their existing relationships in the mean time, but they can blow them up once they have another option in place. At the very leas
