Fellow Australian here. Agree with all of that. If you buy into the rhetoric on AU Reddit subs you’d believe it was all the fault of Boomers, Negative Gearing and AirBNB. People just don’t seem to understand Negative Gearing. They seem to t

Off the top of my head, it's possibly a partial myth. Although they do have suits you can wear to protect against Jelly Fish stings. Clearly barrier protection is effective. So I suppose the myth portion comes from the efficacy of diff

Is the trend for living in Vans a bit like living on a Boat with Wheels? Conceptually, practically and ideologically?

It doesn’t always include _their_ messages too. Forms of this legislation mandate exclusions for politicians and public figures. Apologies for the vague statement - on my phone, short of time.

We would be wise to be sceptical of all these EV tyre pollution reports coming out. At best it’s clickbate reporting, and at worst it’s a biased agenda anti EV campaign. Maybe like for like the weight of a vehicle of a given size contribute

VSCode has noticeable UI lag as compared to SublimeText. I really don’t understand the love for VSC. I give it a good go from time to time, because I figure I must be missing something. But I end up back with ST.

That approach doesn't really work with children. Removing student access to technology is overly punitive and does not support the intended learning and development outcomes of attending school. To ostracize a child because they damage

Maybe they’ve woken up and realised that the consequence of destroying the climate for humans is not having an economy to worry about at all. You can’t keep kicking the can down the road forever.

Oh that's interesting! LOL - I have to get my Apple news from tidbits in comments nowadays as I cannot stand to watch the saccharine overproduced videos that Apple make. I used to love an Apple Keynote... but now, they are a huge turno

I'm with you on the interest in M3 Macs! Be interesting to see how the new iPhone 15 Pro benchmarks on single-core and GPU. That should be a leading indicator on what we can expect from the new M3!

But how can this be! Because according to Apple the only way to get decent SSD speeds is with an SOC. It must all be integrated so we can’t upgrade or add to a system ourselves, because otherwise the performance will be terrible!
