I'm actually more concerned with how they've changed the design for rear drum brakes vs. rear disc brakes. If I recall, that model Accord wagon had rear drum brakes. edit: yep, it does have rear drums. I'm VERY curious to see how they inten

Oh damn, if they integrate that into news.me, they've shot themselves with a $500,000 proverbial bullet in the proverbial foot. At this point Reddit can probably not be killed. The only hope that betaworks could have at success is a vanilla

I am incredibly skeptical about the plausibility of resurrecting Digg, but for 500k I sure hope they do. It was my first social media home and it would be nice to be able to go back to what it was; not a marketing front end for corporate pr

Even worse, it opens up a whole new attack vector: "UEFI reimplements a full networking stack, unlike many BIOSes, and therefore is a target for remote security exploits" [ http://catless.ncl.ac.uk/Risks/26.18.html#subj13 ]

Hindsight is always 20-20. We can only speculate at this point, but if we take a look at the timeline for the browser wars, we get some interesting insight. From the mid 90's through 2000, we had Netscape as a serious source of competition

The reason that AD is so needed is the ease of implementation with EVERYTHING, as long as its MS(ish) based. One AD account can auth a user to any service running on the company systems. For example, I work for a university as an applicati

If the decision to go was unanimous then how is this a problem? They went to a restaurant that advertises the objectifying of women, with employees (of the eatery) that are totally OK with it as well. Now, if one of those employees decided

I'm not really sure that the point needed to be restated, as I think that we all know what qualifies as an HR nightmare. Gender inequality is a problem that definitely needs to be avoided, but (what seems to be) the core issue for this arti

Technically, MSG is supposed to be the "extra" taste area they didn't know about/ teach in school. So although it seems salty, it's actually the savory flavor. MSG is found in just about every single food you eat that has that "savory" flav

I think part of the problem with MSG is the name. It's hard to convince the general public that something with the name "Monosodium Glutamate" is a naturally occurring substance, let alone one of the more abundant naturally occurring amino
