It's like 100x more expensive. Would be nice to have separate data lines, running fiber optics sealed in pressurized conduits for double tamper detection. The military actually does this for their critical infra.

That is not random speech however. That is a protected affiliation. Similarly you cannot discriminate on political or religious grounds. Some speech is more protected than others.

The "levels" beyond 2 are do not add any new driving features, but rather shift the legal responsibility increasingly to the manufacturer. So Tesla has a choice of no unprotected left turns, HD mapped area only or go full in. And

Or the money was spent in buying the factory and what happens after is just extraction. Speculation being that investments in economy are perceived as a very good thing and the origin of the money is not checked that tightly.

Gasoline has way more thermal energy. Yes, it's easier to put out, bit it gives you way less time before things really get out of hand.

The govt action is the shitty way out. This all is a classic there is not enough to go around situation. Govt regulation will make it more entrenched and "manageable". The best outcome is to come up with a fundamentally better bus

As far as I can tell the law does not prohibit algorithm assisted decision making. So as long there is a human rendering the final decision we are good. Which seems to be a reasonable balance IMO.

It is however very suspicious knob if most of the spending is automated. To attempt an anology, consider if all phone calls where charged by the minute and there is a knob to adjust the pricing. One cal argue it's a reasonable tool to

The time from mars to Earth is 3-20 minutes depending on orbit. Perseverance to MRO is 2 mbits/sec but only when it's overhead of the rover. MRO to Earth is 0.5 - 4 mbits per second. While it takes around 10 seconds to transmit an

I'm not buying it. What you patent is a bunch of text that is clearly copyrightable. If you patent a method how to organize APIs, that would be perfectly reasonable. In fact we have a bunch of patents like that for networking stuff.

IMO not so much. Just assume all files are malicious unless accompanied by metadata saying otherwise. That is pretty much the status quo already. Except we have some grandfathered file types that are implicitly trusted.
