I really recommend to replace drivers with TMC2208 one! They are plug in replacement and silent. You won't hear anything at all.

Using such information is so hard that almost impossible. I could spend a year tailoring battery performance for a messenger and still get random guy who have some exotic phone with some strange behaviour. There are really almost no need to

Killing apps in the background and offloading them from memory is a godsend for a Android ecosystem. It is literally so much harder to make anything battery optimized since you have get information about almost everything to make it right:

WebAssembly is in browsers only, i bet they use proper codecs on desktop apps where most users are.

I yet to see CPU without H264 built in. Even cheapest mobile CPU (more like MCU) have it. Again, no one wants software encoding. This is a thing to avoid.

Yeah, it is like people care about this when they literally can't hear a person on the other side because of fans. Without hardware support all this codecs are useless on mobile. If you will take a look at Zoom, they are essentially do

What? If your CPU have H264 then you shouldn't pay any licenses. You will have it in any CPU everywhere. It is not apple late to the party, it is just doesn't make sense to implement VP8 in silicone. Also burning macbooks is Intel

I am kinda annoyed by VP8. It is so widespread and so awful due no support in hardware. I think even latest macos doesn't support hardware encoding. Once video is on VP8 iPhone will became hot, 5 year old MBP turns on all fans. Just sw

This is not a problem, this feature is built in in Chrome and is literally one line: https://pptr.dev/#?product=Puppeteer&version=v3.3.0&show=api...

That's all literally 10-20 lines of code and actually much shorter than downloading html manually. Puppeteer can wait for final HTML.

Is it? we just have multiple instances of puppeteer that makes screenshots and dumps rendered HTML for parsing. Very simple service with autoscaling it is very affordable.

If you will try to profile your app on V8 you will find that almost everything is in binary code, not interpreted.

Frankly no, we tried to to everything in kotlin and it was insane how slow it is comparing to JS. You literally parse 1kb JSON for 100ms+. Kotlin JS is not fast either since it is not that optimal for browsers and have all runtime checks fo

Please, scala could be so different that you can spent years learning it and still don't understand a lot of things. Swift is ok, but ARC is a nightmare. Good for mobile though. Rust is really for C++ guys for specific use cases. F#&#x

I meaning that L1 and friends are quite often could be changed to GC soon. If they put limit on number of L1 visas, they will simply became GC very fast. I think they don't have quotes, this is not a lottery.

Yes the very same way Swift exists because iOS devs are forced to use Objective-C (that have exact same flexibility of js) and Kotlin is simply because there are so many java projects and environments.

It depends, for us we write some wrappers in Kotlin and Swift, but this is irrelevant to team performance - this could take time, but 90% of the time work is done in typescript. You want to have some folks that can do hacking on native leve
