Frankly no, we tried to to everything in kotlin and it was insane how slow it is comparing to JS. You literally parse 1kb JSON for 100ms+. Kotlin JS is not fast either since it is not that optimal for browsers and have all runtime checks for types so just doing something like: a * b + c will yield three typeof invocations.
