I mean the accusation itself. Whether it is true or not, we will have to see. It is going to be very interesting.

AI is a flaky term changing its meaning every now and then, and indeed, as the backbone of the hype, Deep Learning itself is rapidly evolving unlike any other fields I have witnessed. Take CV for example. AlexNet is wakeup call for deep lea

Thinking from another perspective, are those hardware just hardware? Not really, they are solutions, with tons of software supporting them. There is no point selling individual pieces, and they will not work out of box.

Uber already bumped its price in South Bay by somewhere as much as 50%(my daily ride from $14 to $17 then to $20) from my experience. Now I only use Uber Pool since Uber X in comparison is like 2-3 times more expensive.

That is exactly what I meant. The theory that w/o Chinese, makes languages like Korean/Vietnamese 'worse', is a myth constructed by some sino-centrists. The decision to keep or deprecate Chinese characters is political,

One way to disambiguate in Korean, especially North Korea, guess what, is simply using another word to replace the ambiguous one. Why keeping using a word that is causing confusion anyway?

Languages are for communicating, if there is ambiguity, ask and let the person clarify it. In fact, zhuyin is equally bad resolving the Lion Poet as well. While in reality, no one really speaks like this. > Now people who want to be seri

Yes, there are work on this field. But so far all are just like toy examples. The big barrier here is natural language understanding, so far we have limited success even with deep learning at hand. If eventually natural language understandi

Much of so called software engineering is about assembling/wrapping other API/libraries anyway. I don't see how ML change the scenario, instead of querying some db, you are now querying some trained models. Until we have an a
