I don't know--I think we're going to see a rapid evolution here. AI's were previously not creative and many people said that was the hill it would never be able to climb, but it's hard to argue that Dali and Midjourney a

That's a rather interesting line to me, as someone with a young child, they cannot perform that abstract reasoning on mathematics either. At the same time, I feel extremely confident they're a thinking and intelligent being. I thi

Carl Icahn has actually been a quite prominent investor in apple at times and has been quite vocal about what apple does below the line.

Hey, gigs looks super neat--I couldn't find any information on the markets you're in. We operate in subsaharan Africa, so don't want to take time from your sales team if that's not a good fit, but I couldn't find an

I think there's one real thing that's important to decide first which is "What would make this interesting for you and what defines useful for you?" The most useful things in the world are often absurdly boring. Vanta is

I'm curious how they arrived on some of these topics: Things like proof assistants seem like relatively straightforward extensions of their programming language expertise, but paper summarisation seems really out of left field. It also

You really don't want to hire those engineers though? We really explicitly hire for judgement, and while those all might be a good judgement for the business some day, they aren't today, and an engineer who doesn't get that i

Yah, absolutely. We generally take a full court press approach here, using a mixture of voice calls, physical fliers when a farmer picks up, and sms nudges.

Brother printers are consistently reliable and high quality, particularly the laser jet ones. I highly recommend getting one that doesn't have a scanner also, they just do one thing, really really well.

The way I see it is not an indictment of that CEO: Their company survived to get a big mess going and then they hired a great person who solved it. That senior leader is describing a positive thing they did for the company, and describing h
