I can speak for singer taps which this is based on for the EL bits. Our postgres etl works quite well. Logical replication broke down quite quickly, but primary keys + updated_at keys are working very well for us. I can't speak about X

That's just not true. It's about 15% of net incomes currently, but has hovered around 25% of net (in the US): https://www.agriculture.com/news/business/us-heads-for-highe... .

I think you'll almost certainly want to have "Contact us" pricing. The cost of a zerk being poorly greased depends greatly on the value of that machine to the plant and the cost of that machine going down.

I travel on the Amsterdam to Kenya flight (about 8 hours) every two months... when there isn't a global pandemic. Here are my tips that I didn't see here: * Use seatguru to pick a good seat. Some seats look great but are very cram

I found the Planck too small for me/caused arm strain. If anyone in the Eu wants to trade a Planck for Ergodox/Moonlander, I'd be happy to swap! :)

CurrencyCloud might be another good option. https://www.currencycloud.com/ Disclosure: We (Apollo Agriculture) share an investor with them, so I've met a couple of their folks at social events.

SICP is also a fantastic book because such a high percentage of all of the interview questions you'll be asked are represented there, but you end up really quite fundamentally understanding the solutions and I think that translates rea

I commonly hear farming described as "Geographically distributed manufacturing" in the industry. It's a lot closer to a uniform process than people think.

I have a planck keyboard, but I think it's small size isn't fantastic for hand position. I think I may eventually purchase an ergodox ez to get better hand positions.

Yah, the interesting piece happens when you compare what happens when agricultural practices converge. Us historical corn yields prior to 1920/1930 (major introduction of industrial fertilizer happens pretty shortly thereafter) were id

No, my criticism is it’s a very small sample size to get this result, is clearly run by an organization that has a specific mission and is trying to find results for that, and to point out that while interesting, this research has different

It’s worth noting that the question on yields is actually pretty orthogonal to the question of taste. You can optimize for taste and yield pretty effectively, but humans generally use yield and appearance as what we pick our veggies on. It’

Many of our farmers do sustain themselves (and often their families) on an acre or less in Kenya, so I would suggest that you contact your local agricultural extension school for some suggestions. :)

There's also the limitations of the nitrogen cycle. Organic fertilizer is generally cow poop. Cows are fed almost exclusively grain corn (and then are admittedly grass finished, but generally the manure you could get is from the grain

Maize ends up being one of the most economically efficient and calorically dense crops to grow. If you have very little money to invest in your land, it's definitely one of your best choices. We're trying to get farmers a bit more

Some of the best solutions to that world right now seem to be things like lisps with dynamic typing added. You get a great set of repl support, but you can also build components and systems into easy wrapper scripts to load them as needed.
