What about planes? I don't think there's a tribe so remote they don't know any technology... Some isolate from it on purpose, but that doesn't mean they don't know about it.

Figma does it correctly, that's the point (they have custom zooming logic) - if user has to fiddle with their zoom-lock settings because of other pages, then pages like Figma which use the feature correctly and for the intended purpose

No. Sometimes it's good to disable zoom (e. g. in web apps that function as a big canvas, like Figma). Pages should use the feature correctly. People shouldn't have to fiddle with browser settings just because someone can't C

Well no, text looks blurry. I know it's a SW limitation, but it does. I'm sitting in front of it right now (27" 4K display connected to a Mac). Windows look crispy clear with this display.

Yeah but pixel density makes this non-issue on Apple panels. 4K on 27" or more is a whole another story.

Well. I'm making much more money without any of the stress, and for that I lost my 0.0001% chance of striking it big - great deal. But I'd never change a thing in my past - I can make so much money now only thanks to that experi

There is zero evidence at all that Apple knew before media knew; and there is plenty of evidence Apple is fixing this stuff ASAP without medialization. It's totally unrealistic to expect hardware companies to watch every factory of the

North Korea is one of the very few places that you can't move away from, so I grant you that. All other people who can move freely around the world - yes, it was not luck, it was hard work. Moving into the US - or being born there - re

Stop putting anti-capitalism into my words, you'll never find it, and if you do it's only your own bias. Once Apple knew there is a problem, they fixed it - and they fixed problems like this many times before the issue you're

I really don't think the factory was owned by Apple. AFAIK Apple was a customer and they lobbied to have things changed once they knew it, and they also have a clear track record of switching suppliers in case of problems like this dat

But we want big companies! We offer everything and the neighbor's dog to them! Tax breaks, special laws, loans, etc... And that's good, and people here think so as well! The only problem is, the environment here is not friendly to

You're downvoted but it's true, there isn't a big company in EU that isn't exploitative. The biggest are banks and loan sharks. And not a single one pays good wages.

Problem is, schools expect students to do this with like 100 tools and give no guidance on what to do, and why. It's absolutely overwhelming. Even as a professional SW engineer for 10+ years, when I join a new job, the amount of new to
