This is very sad. Regular earnings from Uber eats or similar are already way too low to live in a city like Paris, so as a sub-contractor, I cannot imagine how those people live. We are back to the 19th century and Victor Hugo novels.

> This is why Uber is worth more than all of the auto makers and taxi companies that own their own fleets of cars. I think this is bullshit. Uber may be worth more than auto makers, but this is a bubble and will not last (unless uber man

I'm not sure they are comparable. One force of VLC is that it litteraly runs everywhere . MPC-HC only works on windows, so it's not comparable. mpv has also a lot of target platforms, but not as much as VLC. It's really nice

Come on, I'd say it gives the currency an aura of bullshit. Real currencies (USD, EUR, ..) are stored by visa / mastercard in regular databases, so why not facebook's currency ?

I don't understand the difference with any other website. What prevents the scammers to post links to a website containing crypto miners, or any malware ?

Wow, I just discovered I'm rich according to his definition. > The reason you want wealth is because it buys you your freedom. So, you don’t have to wear a tie like a collar around your neck. So, you don’t have to wake up at 7:00 AM

Well grandparent also assumed HTML since he put an HTML tag with html attributes in his node. I'm not sure how different this is, and if he wants to convert this to markdown he'll also need a html to markdown converter.

I don't follow you. JSON is very extensible. Just add a new key like "body-image" and you're done. How is that different from XML if your body is defined as a text field?

This is ok if you can upload preprints on arxiv or equivalent. The obsolescence of papers already happens now, when a conference is 6 months after the submission, and the preprints system works fine.

The reviewers are commissioned by the editor, so I would say it's the same thing. Unless you meant the reviewers should replicate the papers with their own ressources, but I think it's not what we want. Reviewers are benevolent,

It's not the editor's job to replicate the results. Imagine the same requirements in medical research, this would be crazy. Editors accept a paper based on the quality of the paper and the claim. Then the paper needs to be replica

I'd say this is because it takes that long to get a feature from design to production, in a bank.

It's fun but not very interesting. A real research paper would explain the method they used to find this examples. Even only a few lines if the method is already known.

This is interesting. You are basically saying that free will is the same as non-determinism. I don't think that's the case. For me, non-determinism is just randomness (quantum for example), and doesn't imply free will. Can yo
