My Kindle says “2GB gratis de 3GB” (in Spanish) which doesn’t make any sense, instead it should say “2GB libres de 3GB” (2GB free of 3GB). Free can be translated to either “libre” or “gratis”, libre is as in freedom, gratis is free as in be

I would recommend reading “Atomic habits” it’s a small and easy book to read. It has a lot of “aha” moments were stuff you already know click in your mind on how to develop good habits and remove bad habits, it provides good guidance.

It’s weird, I’ve heard that definition before. But it has never clicked in my mind. I feel melancholy in a different way. I’m lucky though, I had a happy childhood and I have a happy adult life too, I also haven’t lost too many relatives&#x

It took me too much time to find the actual content, I was not sure if I was looking at an ad or not, when I finally found the actual article my motivation was gone, no good content could be inside that awful page.

Sounds reasonable, something similar happened in Hispanic America, SMS was really expensive, so as soon as WhatsApp showed up everyone jumped to it. Actually I’ll bet WhatsApp was the main motivation to get a smartphone during those years.

It’s also great for testing concepts or libraries, “what happens if I call this object like this or like that?” I used to use LINQPad for that, now I don’t need to, VS Code and this new feature is enough!

Honest question, what does stop you from simply not using DI in .NET?

Legit question as a non Indian. Is there other ways to identify castes other than names? Probably accents? physiognomy? place of birth?

Here’s another one from my city in a semi desert area in northern Mexico (take a look at the kind of trees that grow around here for comparison). https://goo.gl/maps/J76RJAaMQcaCdoWD6

It also included great multimedia (images, audio, video, animations). I remember myself spending hours watching all kinds of physics animations.

Agree, I would add, make vocals consistent, ‘a’,‘e’,‘i’,’o’,’u’ should only have one sound per each letter for every case, if we need more vocal sounds then use different characters.

That’s amazing, I’m not a native English speaker and that sounds exactly like when you are listening to a song in English but you are not understanding the lyric.

I can relate to that, I would say 50% of mine survive, I usually stop just before clicking the submit button. Anyways you have your reasons and I respect that.

That’s the exact reason I (as a programmer) want to start doing some wood work, there’s something about creating tangible stuff that web programming just doesn’t fulfill. You talk about the table saw as a complement. I thought it was a must

It seems like communication is missing in both cases. It is easy to try to guess the other’s person motivations, but it’s actually hard to be 100% correct, and even if we’re 100% correct, who says our motivation is more valid than the other

I can think of some readability benefits of using ‘this’. But the author didn’t give further details on why he didn’t like it. Is it just a matter of taste?

I don’t think the problem is people getting offended. But sometimes a name can sound funny and it will be difficult for people taking it seriously. For example WebOS in Spanish sounds like “huevos” (eggs) and huevos it’s another way to say
