It doesn’t sound like they are talking about boosting the power output from access points, so I guess this is, WLOG, the same question as asking “what are the health implications of wi-fi?” I don’t mean to imply that the answer is ‘none,’ b

I use `dnsmasq` and configured it to return `NXDOMAIN` for a giant list of ad domains I found. It doesn’t have feature-parity with this, but the software was readily available for my platform, which was nice.

I mostly agree with you. But I also think there are non-scammy advantages to using in-app feedback. The primary one is that it could allow for better communication between an unsatisfied user and the app developer. Developers could funnel f

I think it's important when you're trying to advertise your product. If there is a marginal cost for each set of eyeballs you can attract, then you'll probably want to start with the richest set of eyeballs.

According to some, the Google Play store is now grossing more money than Apple’s App Store. But on a per-downloader basis, it looks like the average iOS user is way more likely to spend money on any particular app than an Android user. So i

Skip the measurement and do something real. No. If you care whether a donation to a particular charity will be either helpful or wasteful, then you need measurement.
