Not sure what “tame” means in this context. Performance per watt has been increasing every year for a long time and continues to do so [1]. So temperature is really just a design choice. One example, pick a performance get a power. Once

Nice variant of the Knight Tour. The 0 makes the board shape a bit odd and therefore interesting. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Knight%27s_tour

I was really interested in how they measured power because there is a ton of nuance there. They used the metric reported by a tool that limits average power via a programmable power limiter in hardware which an interesting way to do it. To

Technically it’s figured out. Gate-all-around has been experimentally demonstrated at pitches less than FinFET. The primary problem is, who is going to pay it. The economics are very tough at these 1s of nm nodes but hopefully that’s only

To make transistors smaller, and not just draw them with finer resolution, the industry will need a new way of controlling the channel. FinFET got us here. Most likely gate-all-around will be the technique that gets the “true” geometries

This whole thing is so multifaceted I think it’s hard to draw any conclusions from it. In CA, we have COVID and fires so I’m essentially a prisoner in my house. If you locked me in my office, my productivity might go up too. But now that

Oh, I see. I completely misread that paragraph. If the metal strip is on the top of the ceramic and grounded it makes sense that it would be for ESD protection. Especially as they likely did hand assembly of the PCBs.

That’s a part of the machine therefore it would technically be included by the statement given on the right to repair policy page. Obviously that page is meant to be a high level statement, it’s not law. But hopefully you can see my point.
