Yes, I thought the same thing in finding it easier on my eyes/quick perception of the site. I do think the UK and some other countries do a better job of presenting data compared to the CDC. It's pretty much agreed that the rate o

I was only listening, but it was fun! I listened to the plane landing that my older children were on when coming to visit me. What amazes me about your project is to put focus on things we take for granted going over our heads all the time.

I actually subscribed for a while to SP, but I didn't like having to be connected to the internet to run it. I own two TBOS editions, and it scratches my Haskell, Lisp, Forth (because Klambda), and Prolog itch. I've toyed with the

A thought experiment leapt to mind on how one would triangulate (septangulate!) your location based on heading, time, flight information, and their intersections. I suppose you could get within a 100 meters? Very cool photos! When I lived i

I agree in contrast to the previous reply I made. I still play with Shen, and I would love to see SICP in Shen, since Shen has ben implemented for many languages including JavaScript, but it's still a Lisp. I should try my hand at it i

First they replace Scheme with Python for their CS classes, and now SICP in JavaScript! Isn't this another portent from Nostradamus about the coming of the end of the world?

I have a similar story. I had the BAT chorded keyboard back in the 90s/2000s. I tried the Georgi and others to do one-handed chording. I went down the mechanical keyboard rabbit hole only to discover pretty keyboards with poor ergonomi

Quality of life over quantity should be a metric somehow. Sure the internet and access for more people should raise the bar, but I am not sure about that. A lot of noise out there. Yes, an average life expectancy of 78 years in the US, soun

I am glad you have declared the time for reasonable doubt is over. How about this: Would it be reasonable to say there should be long-term random trial studies instead of no saying no short-term side effects have occurred, yet, since that i

I don't know. I like small and minimal, synonymous with Fabrice Bellard (TCC and QuickJS!), and I am glad the herd of elephants wasn't dragged in the door! But then again, I am not a front end dev or a full-time coder; I have been

The one block for me is that I work on Windows, Linux, and Mac, and I don't like using Cygwin or MinGW with Windows. I am using Corman Lisp on my Windows machine for Windows-specific stuff and Jane before I heard of Owl and Otus Lisp.
