Do you have any idea the issues that would solve? Warning: US centric post below. If you could file bankruptcy on private student loans, education costs would plummet overnight. Before you claim that education quality will go down, MOST of

For me, the solution is Cloudflare + (pick 2) random cloud providers + a sanity check for failover or bypass of Cloudflare if something really messes up. I run a custom stack on 90% of my sites, so it isn't feasible to use SaaS /

100% agree on reading the RFC. I've implemented various protocols as well (SMTP, IMAP, POP, FTP, some crypto and other things, all a couple decades ago), and the cases where I glossed over the RFC have always bitten me.

Curious as to how these engines accept new sites into their ranks. A big problem most of us have had is spammy results outranking everything else by building large, fake networks of sites that boost each other's rankings via interlinki

GitHub is becoming a huge revenue source for them FYI. They are stealing a TON of business from competitors. Shoot, if Microsoft had a real competitor for Jira, they would probably steal even more business.

They still could have designed around it. At my current job, all of our services are in separate clusters, with none of them being largely interdependent on the other. It's possible our front-end could be bottlenecked, but as the front

I actually worked on a service for a company in the past that could identify these types of scenarios and determine if they are fake. There were a number of scenarios to consider (there was a "probability score" involved), but the

I mean, the text could be changed, also if KNOWN bots are detected, it won't matter. Assuming you KNOW they are bots, give them the new price with no hints at all. :D

Right. The monitor is a thunderbolt monitor. Furthermore, your GPU must be part of that. With Thunderbolt 4, most people mistake USB-C for Thunderbolt. They are not the same, even if the connector is.

As a G9 owner, I'll say it can't even achieve 240hz with DSC. Look up all the G9 owners who have 3090s (or other cards) and experience interlaced output when the refresh is set to 240hz on their G9s, including me.

I will partially disagree with this. Irreparable hardware/software changes like this should absolutely be banned, however, I disagree that we should dictate speech, with speech in this case being how the software was written. An analog

Going to disagree. I will agree once Apple allows you to ungroup windows of the same application in the dock. Until then, I will use Windows + WSL2 as my core development system. Sure, Apple has a different workflow. Pro-Apple peeps insist
