- freeone3000 5y agoWhat happened to Azure DevOps?
- 8n4vidtmkvmk 5y agofwiw i moved to gh from bitbucket after the mercurial fiasco (they decided to just straight up delete everyones repos)
- ksec 5y ago>(they decided to just straight up delete everyones repos) I had to look it up. Wow... just wow. https://bitbucket.org/blog/sunsetting-mercurial-support-in-bitbucket https://bitbucket.org/blog/sunsetting-mercurial-support-in-b...
- Aeolun 5y agoWell… Today I learned that all my old code from university is just… gone. Is it too much to expect for them not to delete data that we’ve given them for safekeeping?
- progval 5y agoThe Bitbucket folks were kind enough to delay deletion to let us at Software Heritage archive their Mercurial repositories. I only see one mercurial repo (yamlconfig) from you, though: https://archive.softwareheritage.org/browse/search/?q=https%3A%2F%2Fbitbucket.org%2Faeolun&with_visit=true&with_content=true https://archive.softwareheritage.org/browse/search/?q=https%... But you can search them directly on https://archive.softwareheritage.org/ https://archive.softwareheritage.org/ if you used a different username.
- Aeolun 5y agoOh, sweet. Let me check!
- kubanczyk 5y ago> if Microsoft had a real competitor for Jira, they would probably steal even more business. But they have a real competitor for Jira. Check out the recently beefed up GitHub Projects, my previous (scrum-ish) team was running on it and we've liked it more than Jira. Much simpler, but just enough for a dev. Didn't check out whether it's available on enterprise github though (i.e. local instances).
