In the end a car, electric or not, is a 1.5T complex machine that transport most of the time 80kg of human and that stays immobile 95% of the time. You can turn it the way you want, the issue is the concept itself. A bus is more logical, a

Yeah that's one of the issue, but I'm living with it. It's pretty awesome to have a stream of all my music on a unique link available on the Internet :)

I've borrowed hundreds of CD from the different public-city-libraries I've been the past 15 years. In France you're allowed to make private copy of books and CDs :)

You were talking about reducing coal usage no ? But maybe there's a catch about re-commissioning coal massively and still planing to reduce it on the long term.

Do you have a real-world example ? I'm talking about a country that actively deployed solar-panels and wind turbines, not the few ones that can claim to be "100% renewable" because they have plenty of hydro power.

To do that we need a lot of energy. How do we produce most of the energy at the moment ? (In before "we just need to cover the Sahara with solar panels and we'll be good"). To reduce CO2 emission, we have a way simpler path:

Connect those things in line by hundreds to simplify management of the shipment and save energy. Put in front one big engine that put the whole thing in motion. Let the physics do the rest. You just reinvented the container train. Meanwhile

So you didn't answered my question regarding your sources. Here's mine: - The technology to convert power to hydrogen and back to power has a round-trip efficiency of 18%-46%, according to data that Flora presented from the Massac

And where the electricity come from ? Ah yes, hydrogen is 95% made from fossil fuels for now. "But soon we will make it from solar panels and wind turbines". Power-to-h2-to-power is 30% efficient. Please.

Big +1 on this. Elon Musk is not a philanthropist. The goal of Starlink is just to bring Internet to people that can afford an expensive system just for themselves by literally annoying everyone else. It's the same thing with the Borin
