Google demonstrated codebase aware LLMs at Next last week. I believe it was with their Codey model. It knew the data model and methods that existed in code, and used these.

I agree, very beautiful and otherworldly when compared to the average Danish landscape. Sailed there three years ago.

I'm not aware of a way to prioritize one process over another. The way I've done it is, as you allude to, by managing locks. You set the transaction isolation level as appropriate. You can also batch statements by using a cursor,

I call this the definition of done. It’s when my kids think they’re done with breakfast but haven’t washed their hands. It’s when a PM is done with a feature when it’s deployed to production but its success hasn’t been measured. It’s when I

How are you maintaining the tax rules? I considered building something similar to your tool and found this, which would decouple that hairy task: https://openfisca.org/en/ Also, plans to add Danish tax? A stretch I kno

I wrap all of my production manipulations in a transaction, and commit only if the results are expected. Yes, it may take locks that block customer-facing transactions, so I have selects ready to go in the transaction to minimise this. 15 y

The scale of this on the thread is astonishing. I hired in the past through marketplaces. One particular candidate started strong but then his productivity began to taper off. Camera off in more and more meetings. Less availability. And thi

Narrow thinking. Cargo bikes come in a variety of shapes and sizes to carry children, adults, parcels, moving boxes, and more. As for the weather... well, as we say in Denmark: there's no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothing.

With the borders shut, all European countries are experiencing it quite differently. Here in Denmark we dodged the third wave and are now easing restrictions.

Funny, I've visited and never even noticed those scenes. The displays are massive, you cannot see everything. The amount of sexualization, as you put it, is tiny, fun, playful, and a reflection of European values.

I can see why you'd think that, but knowing Jakob, respectfully, you're wrong. Jakob shares authentically. Not with the primary goal of building an audience to sell stuff to, but because it's natural for him. His particular b

Launch on BigCommerce, where you can use your own billing, and come back and tell us how that went. Hint: poor conversion rate because merchants need to enter their CC details, and low volume. 20% on Shopify is a steal IMO.

Brighton Rock is one that can read a lot like a noir gangster thriller. I do think that to really 'get' Greene's writing, you should have experienced the cognitive dissonance that comes from religion. I was introduced to his

Thank you. I was aware of the money laundering. What Danske Bank did is under investigation for being illegal under 'hvidvaskloven'. Let's see how that goes, but the company and its directors are expected to face consequences

I strongly doubt it. The corporate tax provisions are stricter than most developed economies. All indexes I've seen have Denmark pretty far down tax haven friendliness. Genuinely curious on your source.

There's something distinctly Danish about Lars von Trier's 'Riget'. The characters are undoubtedly caricature but delightfully capture facets of the Danish attitude I rarely see in dramas.
