The confusion of all these journalists lies in the fact that Google and Facebook are direct competitors because they both are advertising companies based on data. But they both have fairly different usage scenarios so you'd say that they ar

Don't forget the "grass is always greener" in people's minds rather than reality. And supply and demand tells us something too, these people are some of the best in the world and the economy needs/wants them elsewhere and is sending a price

I said "freedom" and you changed that to "greater good" to try to win the argument. Stallman was pursuing his lifestyle, people started to mess with it, so he created a legal document to secure his own freedoms and those of others. This ena

RMS sold GPLed software in the early days. RMS is also someone who made deep personal sacrifices to see a certain vision of freedom prevail, or rather be preserved. That seems to me to be very American.

I got modded into a smouldering crater for pointing out that another article was a massive troll.[1] I think I was modded down for the fact that I enjoyed it: despite the fact I was highlighting it was a troll and that people shouldn't take

I looked into groovy recently, and even as a python fanboy I can see how awesome it is for someone who already knows java. It looks extremely close to both python and ruby, and you can drop down to java anytime, use java libraries anytime.

Very nice. Are you using a variation of the Arc90 readability algorithm or something else? Aha I just saw you talk about them in your "about" page. I was going to do something similar with the python readability port[1] and Flask but hadn't

You say that the dig about the wardrobe is "un-needed and unclassy" and then go on to say the writer is an "idiot". I think you need to look in the mirror and see that the pot is just as black as the kettle.
