Given that mortgage rates recently rose past 6%, seems to me this latest rate increase is going to put strong pressure on house prices. The rate has a huge impact on the monthly payment required to service a loan, more so than is immediatel

Yes, US companies tend to price a bit higher in non-USD in order to hedge against currency risk. Their profits are reported in USD.

The tax is literally the problem with quoting the price in Euros. As far as the price, the equivalent card from the 3 series was the 3090 RTX, which released at $1499 msrp 2 years ago. Given the inflation over past few years, $100 increase

It’s actually a 2x performance per watt increase. The 450w power consumption of the top card is the same as the previous generation’s top card, 3090ti. Why decrease overall power consumption of the top of the line cards? PSUs and cooling c

You do realize that it’s about 350 euro in added 22% VAT, right? That makes it about $/€50 different. You expecting a massive discount or something? I’m not saying euro pricing isn’t usual higher, but everyone always forgets the tax.

Wow! 389k for a very small trailer/prefab!? The CA housing market must have truly detached from all reality. It really looks like it’s something you would set on a cinder block foundation. A trailer about this size would go for maybe 7

I mean it’s getting there. Add this to a best in class desktop processor at 300W and add in all the other power consumption and you are close to the wattage of a hot plate, kettle or small space heater.

How many images do you need to get a good textual inversion? If you were to draw a custom character in a few poses, could you then generate infinite new styles and poses of that character? Or does it have to be something already common in t

Exactly, and plenty of people like the ego boost of an unrealized gain going up and up, even if they plan to never realize it. The homeowners I know only talk about their property values every chance they get and every other breath.

The NIMBYism is one of the reasons US cities suck. The primary aim of NIMBY is to lower density because less supply=higher prices. All these efforts to block new construction and multi-use development yield sprawl and car culture.
