Normalcy. Right now everything is taken with an abundance of caution. Once stabilization occurs, normalcy will return (even if it's changed).

Do they though? Are there regular security updates for their products for every one of their models? My suspicion is they just silently stop support.

Would you recommend it (if so why)? Not particularly jazzed about MS given their anti-user behavior with Windows. Is Chromium the way to go?

It doesn't need to. The apps simply need to be executing a fraction of the instruction set to be more performant.

I used to believe Samsung's additions were all bloat. After using one, I know prefer the customizations, the additional side gestures, and edge panels. Dex is nice and I have Linux installed so I can use the phone like a computer when

Apple should be broken up. But how? Maybe the AppStore needs to be independent?

I'd put in Microsoft in there. Their Windows (desktop OS) dominance needs to be reigned in and potentially spun off.

I wouldn't say all train professionals knew this. I talked to doctors about Theranos and they were impressed by them and were bullish. It may be they didn't look too much into it. Context: I was approached by a recruiter and I c

Could minorities who need connection still find that connection via forum-based communities (i.e. pre social media)? Social media was helpful for me to connect with lost acquaintances (which was novel at first, but now I barely continue to

Would you be willing to pay 30% more? Why not let people choose how they wish to pay. If you like that UX and are willing to pay for it, app developers should be able to offer it along with cheaper alternatives.

Would allowing for more App Stores fix this problem? It would allow developers to simply withhold their apps from, say, Apple's in favor of a one that has lower fees.

Wouldn't this be a net benefit for Google? They could offer their Play store on IOS if this passes. That could lead them to really break the IOS walled garden if user's purchases work on both platforms. Actually this goes for an

It does happen with Chrome. See the whole ublock origin debacle. I guess it doesn't impact end users as greatly or maybe Firefox users are more vocal about changes? Also: yikes on that link. I would feel disillusioned if my feedback wa

How do you know this is because of Chrome in the first place? Another explanation is that it could be Edge or even users moving to use mobile (browsers) more? Genuinely curious where the market share and total number of users in the market

Genuine question: why not distribute them yourself (e.g. on GitHub)? If more and more developers do this, it will be like pc software. We don't have to accept a storefront (on Android at least).

Agree. I wish I could game on Linux. DX12 has really cemented the Windows monopoly. Embrace, extend, extinguish. I have to use Windows to play. If the cloud gaming services supported Ultrawides, I may be off of it altogether.
