Wouldn't this be a net benefit for Google? They could offer their Play store on IOS if this passes. That could lead them to really break the IOS walled garden if user's purchases work on both platforms. Actually this goes for any third party store. I don't see Apple ever offering their store on other platforms given their history though. Overall this seems like a huge net benefit. I can then not care about IOS vs Android if my purchases follow me.
