Eh, the issue is not thay the US is good/bad whatever but this article frames most dialog on CO2 % change. There are a few issues: C02 is only one greenhouse gas of which others, particularly methane from cow farts, are substabtial c

Have my doubts that this is as much a real issue as it is people upset over change. When I buy 'beefless beef crumbles', I'm not confused. I'd be willing to bet the number of people that are actually confused rounds to

I would love to see a breakdown by country. Given the endless rhetoric around manufacturing reshoring/offshoring/etc., it would be great to see if thats even something we should care about given how much automation already exist

I negotiated with my wife to only have biological children below the replacement rate barring unexpected twins, etc. If we want more kids than this, we will adopt.

I believe that you don't have anything against jews. not sure you can just generalize across the board though. And this applies jews -> palestinians and palestinians -> jews.

Personally not sure I care about a 90s baseline at all. And most relevantly, the difference now is access to information anywhere/everywhere and in more detail/angle/opinion without a lot of latency.

This is illegal for US (private) companies to do right? Sometimes I wonder why it is illegal to tell the world you are fundraising but having a casual conversation about it with someone is fine. Such a bizarre world where you can’t really

Sure, but its also in their interest to push that narrative. Doesnt mean its wrong, just that its not as simple as a neutral observer. That and when ever any prediction is right, there are always tons of people that predicted it as a resul

I'm not buying that. The reality is early stage companies dont bother with patents as mich because of money and time constraints. Really well funded compa oes sure, but the reality is patents are a tool for the big guys, if you have

I agree it isn't 100% perfect for every situation. But I can think of plenty of instances where ditching colors, lowering resolution, etc. have been totally fine (and often essential) for gaining a level of intuition. As some other c

uber and lyft are the next mass transit (at least in concept). think of trains and busses as circuit switched networks and cars (in a rideshare context) as packet switched networks. packet switched flexibility wins over the efficiency gain

I really loved the mechanical design. Designing for 3d printing (especially fdm) can be tricky if you don't want to spend lots of time cleaning up support material. Very cool.

Yeah these aren't bad. Only complaint on these is the discharge curve. For some reason they run a little low for their middle voltage range making them work for devices designed/spec'd to run at that lower voltage point. O

Really curious about self discharge. We make super low power wireless systems and one of the best parts of alkaline is that they are effectively shelf-stable unlike most lithium chemistries that loose a lot to leakage. For phones, tablets
