Out of interest, which would you choose on balance in a scenario in which the lab meat tasted the same, cost the same and came with the same food safety aspects?

30 year pescetarian here. I mean, mainly vegetarian but some fish every so often. I gave up meat at 17 on the basis of no reason whatsoever, I was just a contrary teen who liked giving things up. Down the line a few years I find so many com

This is the myth that the brexiteers sold the nation. And it's pretty much all bulls t. See this thread for a pretty well done and amusing takedown https://threadreaderapp.com/thread/1087360379691380736.html

We notice it here in Cornwall, UK. Most of the time everyone is super friendly, lots of hellos and smiles between people you see in the street, even strangers. Then it's holiday season and the place fills up with visitors - there'

Humans had better stop farting. There's literally no way the aliens will take us seriously if we continue filling up with gas and having to let it out with a comedy sound.

Conflating "media" and "content" is the issue here. Facebook is successful because of content. Google+ failed because there wasn't any content. Heading tech up against content in some way is also a silly argument. G

Homelessness breaks my heart. If there's a more poignant indicator of how bad inequality has got, I don't know what it is. In London as in any big city you see homelessness existing next to massive, opulent, hugely flaunted wealth
