Homelessness breaks my heart. If there's a more poignant indicator of how bad inequality has got, I don't know what it is. In London as in any big city you see homelessness existing next to massive, opulent, hugely flaunted wealth. It's an appalling indicator of how capitalism doesn't "trickle down" but sticks exactly where it is.
