It's too early to write them off. They're not Kodak, they're well funded and willing to change direction as their moat disappears.

When I see a presentation so well trained and rehearsed, I am also put off. It's such overt manipulation of my monkey brain.

I visited North Korea some years ago. For me, one of the most memorable things about the trip had nothing to do with the North Korea itself. Without the comfort of their smartphones, all the other tourists had no choice but to spend their t

The tomato plant is huge! It seems quite foliage heavy though, do you think that's because of the commercial nutrient blend you used? Have you also looked at modifying the recipe at different stages i.e. during growth, flowering, ripen

Totally agree with you. I remember reading somewhere (maybe on HN) that Japan is an extremely consumerist society. I don't know how true that is but, like anywhere, some are going to be more conscientious than others and I've hear

I liked this system a lot when I lived in Germany. Although living in a 4th floor apartment without an elevator, buying crates of heavy duty glass bottles was a bit of a drag compared with cans. The bottles are great to drink out of though

No worries, it's interesting how incredibly bright these rooms are. The windows are unusually large. Maybe Munger didn't have much input there. [edit] downvoter is maybe unaware that I'm referring to the Stanford Munger build
