If I can offer one minor criticism when i see every major tech company listed as your users, I instantly get a sense of a distrust as people do this to inflate the legitimacy and popularity of their service. Why should we trust the statemen

Simply not true. That’s exactly what I want and DT already has a reset button by which I can undo those base edits anyway. It’s again, another thing that puts people off and is confusing as hell at first.

I love DarkTable, it's an amazingly powerful tool, but for 99% of people the terms they use to describe editing are entirely alien. I take photos on my X100F for fun, want to do little edits here and there and filmic rgb etc. are compl

Jellyfin has had “coming soon” next to Samsung and LG tvs for over 2-3 years. Not much use without native apps considering how awful the built in browsers are.

Right, and I said I'm not justifying the need to do this. It pisses me off that I have to. But at least I can try and help out and provide a solution that will work for the majority of this community.

Can't tell if you're being facetious or not. If a technologist can't change an IP address on a TV's network settings then they're probably in the wrong community.

I'm not justifying it in any way - but changing DNS is trivial - something well within the capabilities of all the readers here.

You can block 99% of this by using the "Samsung" list with nextdns on your TV. Few other hosts in this thread [1] [1] https://gist.github.com/peteryates/b44b70d19ccd52f62d66cdd4b...

Soon as you leave the major cities in Finland, EV charging points are present but in a lot of cases they are taken. You might drive 100km and need to charge, only to arrive at the first charging station and all spots are full. So you have t

They are by-far the most fuel efficient hybrid on the market in Europe at least. The fuel economy for city usage (40-50km/h) is far below other hybrids (not talking about plug-in hybrid here).

Try using NextDNS on your tv. They have a preset list for Samsung that used to block the ads.

There is also the issue of access to equipment. Usually people onboard these skills at workshops as some form of training or internship. You can do real damage not knowing how to use those machines.

Does using a professional camera (DSLR/Mirrorless) damage the sensor over time and lower the lifetime of your camera? Usually shutter count is a good indicator of health of a used camera - would this not have a similarly huge impact?

These stores have popped up in a lot of major European cities. You should avoid them like the plague - regardless of their background - they are a complete rip-off. Often 10-20x the price of a comparable store.
