If safecoin.org is a scam, why aren't maidsafe and/or sagenetwork representatives trying to : - shut down safecoin.org, - if not possible : change the name of their own coin and/or project to make it clear it is not related i

Please do ! This would make an interesting case to study and you would certainly become famous. I would not be as confident as you that you'd be likely to win though ...

I didn't know about sizecoding.org, it seems to be a very valuable and interesting resource explaining the "black art" of tiny demos, thanks ! I did not check yet all pages, but "Memories" entry in particular is ver

Indeed it seems I was wrong. This is because as mentioned in another comment it is quite easy to create a self destructive pattern. Slider on top right is a common pattern. My bad, and impressive effort from xkcd !

Hum ... it is obviously "just" animated art even if the last sequence is a well known pattern I think. Very beautiful and sensible in any case.

Not a whole cathedral from scratch, but in Saint-Denis, near Paris, they plan to restore the Basilica spire [1] that was taken down on 19th century, using medieval techniques as in Guedelon [1] https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wik

These entries are hard to find. Each of them has an informative, short description. This is very useful for people who like to discover and explore new options. Obviously this won't be so useful for those who prefer to be told what the

This seems really cool. The "no external asset" goal reminds me of another very cool game engine, still actively maintained, but unfortunately totally under the radar : amulet. There is even an online editor, you can check "d

I know it is possible for a few "special" kids to read at 2.5 or 3 (I didn't know about the word hyperlexia though, thanks for the link !). My point is that such kids will read very early, whether their parents are super dedi

You seem to believe that it is because your parents were reading a lot to you that you were able to read by yourself at the age of 4. We read books to our daughter at least 1 hour a day since she is maybe 1 year old. Yet she does not know o

Brainwashing millions of people is a terrible thing to do, but I don't believe it is on the same level of atrocity than genocide and mass murdering. Nazis did not try to "assimilate" Jews by forcing them to reject their relig
