Both sides are behaving like children and it’s hard to believe they represent prestigious schools. I don’t believe she targeted him because he happens to be black. She likely would have threatened the police irrespective of colour.

Ridiculous. That’s what a panel interview is meant for. I would refuse unless they want to pay for my time.

I agree, Zoom seemed willing to work with the ex-employee. Unfortunately people often overlook that they are an ambassador for the company they work for. Their employer will usually not tolerate aggravating a (potential) revenue-generating

Unfortunately, anytime you depend on a third party whether it be Google, Amazon, Facebook, etc., this is the exact risk you take. Don’t feed the dragon.

As a Canadian, I think this is shameful and a despicable act by the "leader" of our country. But let me get one thing straight, Justin Trudeau is no leader. His actions throughout his leadership have played off as one of legacy an

Given how low they are already stopping, they likely have a dedicated team for chargebacks that will fight tooth and nail to challenge it. I am currently dealing with a chargeback team for another company, and the amount of time they’ve ded

Recommend taking a look at MYKI. This is my go to password manager, and no information is stored in the cloud.

I have empathy for not wanting to be filmed, but then why be a member serving the public if this is the case? There is zero expectation of privacy if I’m performing an act in public on the government’s dime.

There's a lot of parallels between this Harvard dude's theory, and some risk management material I've been studying lately. It goes something like this... yes, anything is possible. It's possible an alien launched a gian

My technique: most have bookstore integrations. Use their bookstore website by plugging in each course code and it should spit out the corresponding books when applicable.

Good, but pentesting is just one arm of cybersecurity. I’m in the GRC space myself, and it’s kind of lonely here ;)

Very shoddy development. It sounds that if there was ever a Twilio outage, the same vulnerability could have played out. Not hard to know how Twilio is used either, especially as employees come and go. This was a disaster waiting to happen

Just purchased. Excellent quality! I wasn’t sure how many sentences were included but bought anyway (you might want to add this to the FAQ unless somehow I missed it elsewhere). Seems to be about 2000 sentences per deck. Learning Spanish s

Looks good. Why these particular words/sentences? Is this based on frequency? Something else? I was trying to learn Spanish based off of frequency dictionaries at one point, but many didn’t provide conjugations of the verbs which made

How do you manage this kind of risk? Are there other options other than don’t use GitHub to begin with?

I don’t think recruiters are oblivious to their bad behaviour. Like someone else said, it’s a numbers game, and candidates are widgets. I choose not to deal with recruiters. Ever. I’m pretty blunt to them about it, without being rude.

The automatic feeder is a dream. I’m no longer aggressively stalked by my cat for food. I also have several Wyze cams around the home. When I go away, I’m able to have “kitty conferences” to check in how she’s doing and chat with her.

Epic is trying to shine a spotlight on what they think is unfair, and I flat out disagree. They want to now sue the same company that provides them tools to develop, as if it’s some inherent right? Apple owns the Apple store, and they can c
