I wish I could pay $20/month for Gmail without the spying and data collection, actual customer support, with a guarantee that my account wouldn't get locked because of one of their fucking mistakes.

I can't tell if its a joke post or not, but UTC is a terrible idea. If I'm calling Italy from the US, I won't know if I'm calling during business hours. With regular time, I know that 9am their timezone is roughly when t

I worked at a startup where the CEO reverted the unlimited PTO because one asshole engineer took 2 months off paid leave and then came back and quit immediately. We were angry at the engineer, not the CEO, because it was clear what he was d

You need to learn to be happy being who you are, not who you "should" be. If your parents are toxic, then take a break from them. Surround yourself with people that make you happy and forget about your past. You should really see

I didn't know but I simply googled it. It's from Leta Hollingworth, a researcher on gifted children from the mid-20th century, her book "Children Above 180 IQ".

I find it odd that Google is so proud of the fact that it plans on recycling all its power and is spending so much on being carbon neutral, but can't have the common decency to pay people for the work they did. They have a misplaced se

When my tuition was reimbursed almost 20 years ago, it was at that $5250 level. I'm shocked that the limit hasn't increased, given that tuition everywhere has more than doubled since then.
